I swear to you that today I was going to paint a detective from Masterpiece Theater’s Mystery series. I love allllll of Masterpiece Theater, but I was feeling either a Miss Marple or Poirot painting in my future. I sat down to work and realized that while I love all those detectives so very much, NOTHING brings me more joy than the introductions Alan Cumming gives. I adore him. His twinkling eyes and mischievous manner delight me. I have watched many a movie he was in, just because he was in it.
