86/100 Inarizushi

Here was my setup at the show. Brett and I were there from 10:00-5:00, and we were exhausted afterwards!

I WAS SO TIRED AFTER THIS SHOW!!

After falling asleep on the couch after the art show, I woke up at 10:30 and did this quick little painting. My mom was kind enough to watch my girls today, and they all brought us lunch at the art show. I had Inari & it was fabulous! I was 10 or 11 when my parents first visited Japan. When they returned my mom was obsessed with Inari. Once we tried it, my whole family was too. I have tried my entire life to like fish and seaweed, but I just don’t. I mean I really detest them both. So Inari is my best friend when we go to a Japanese restaurant. It’s just fried tofu pockets stuffed with rice, but OH MAN! It’s so good. My sister-in-law makes the best kind that looks like little bears. I feel super lucky when she brings it to family parties. (Hint. Hint.)
