Like many children of the 80’s I was introduced to Chaka Khan via her oft played “I Feel For You” video on MTV.
I think most people of my generation must say “Chaka Khan Chaka Khan Chaka Khan” in your head once you read her name.
80’s Chaka is great, but I love her 70’s stuff so much too! I stumbled across the Rufus album while thrift shopping as a young teen. I was hooked right away and had to have all of their albums. I love that little Chaka Khan has such a big and voluminous voice. While she was diminutive in size, her hair more than made up for any size difference she had with her band.
