As a kid I loved Samantha on Bewitched. I thought she was beautiful & so cool. As a grown up woman and mother of two young girls, I really love Endora now. I can TOTALLY understand her meddlesome nature. Her daughter is trying to hide her light under this wet blanket who wants Samantha to diminish all that is special about her. If either of my daughters married a guy who wanted them to dull themselves down to make him look more “normal” I would mess with that jerk too.
Like in this clip, are we supposed to be siding with Darrin? He is hoping his daughter is born without powers & he says that Endora is “almost human” as if it’s a good thing? What is wrong with her being a powerful witch?!? Oooh! It gets me so mad.
