More than just a fabulous song, this movie is a great one. It talks about women’s rights in the workplace in a funny and accessible way.
The only bummer is that in some ways, watching it, you realize that we haven’t really come that far.
Never the less, the three stars of this film are brilliant.
When starting this project I made a rough list of some of the things and people I wanted to paint. Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton, and Lily Tomlin were all on the list separately, as well as this film. I love all of their other works as well, but this one is so enjoyable, I had to do a painting of it.
If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and go watch it. If you haven’t seen it recently, why not? That’s a problem you need to rectify immediately.
